The Methow Valley is one of the Northwest's most popular and beloved recreation areas, and home to world-class cross-country skiing, climbing, backpacking and many other outdoor activities. The area also faces potential development of an industrial-scale copper mine that would forever change this special place. Join us and learn about this Northwest treasure and hear how a dedicated group of businesses, valley residents and the outdoor community are working together to protect the Methow Valley and its headwaters. The evening will include a short film, made possible by Patagonia and the Mountaineers Foundation, and an opportunity learn how you can add your voice to support this special corner of the North Cascades and its recreational wonders. Light refreshments will be provided. Doors open 5:30PM, Program starts at 6:00PM
