Darn Tough Vermont

All we do, all we have ever done, is make socks.   Started in 1978, a # generational family owned business ,Cabot Hosiery Mills,  has been making socks here, in the Green Mountains of Northfield, Vermont for the past 36 years. We introduced Darn Tough Vermont about 10 years ago in an effort to keep our mill alive and running, without having to send jobs off shore.

We are interested in one thing. Producing the best possible socks the world has to offer.

Our team spent two years researching and developing a wide-width sock with style, durability, and stretch, engineered for everyday use. The result?
