Like most climbers, I started climbing in the least expensive shoe I could get my hands on. It was...ok. Until I wanted more. One gym session my friend was making fun of my shoes (as friends do) and gave me a pair of Solutions to try out. It was like stepping my foot into a hug. It fit in all the right places. I put those shoes on and have never looked back. When I heard they were revamping the Solutions I had mixed feelings. If it’s not broke don’t fix it, I thought. Well, I am pleased to say that I was not disappointed. I would call it more of a face lift, and a good one at that. The beefed up fastening system leaves the mind at ease knowing your not going to muscle the strap apart. There is a little different feel in the toe box, perhaps slightly more down turned? The fit is slightly tighter than my previous pair but not enough to warrant up sizing.  And with the p3 platform you can know it’s going to hold that wonderful shape we all fell in love with. Let’s not forget about the color up date. It’s on point! It’s safe to say the solutions will continue to be my #1 choice.
